Lattebusche Italian Cheese Piave Di Mezzano DOP Geographical Indication Product

Named after the Piave river, the cheese comes from the river rising in the Eastern Alps in the commune of Sappada in the province of Belluno. The first productions, called “Piave”, date back to 1960, when Piave cheese was produced in limited quantities and was known only in its region of origin. It is made from the milk of cows fed with local forage rich in flowers that impart special sensory properties to the milk. It represents a product with safe food value. It has a strong, pleasant and slightly salty taste. Its smell is clearly reminiscent of milk and yogurt. It is a highly soluble cheese on the palate.

Apart from daily consumption, Piave cheese is also used as an excellent table cheese, breaded or melted to enrich vegetables. Cut alone or into strips for delicious salads or meals. Piave represents a real food with high energy value. It contains important nutrients and is an easily digestible product.

Origin: Italy

Piave is the most famous of the cheeses in the Belluno region. It was created by local master cheesemakers and is still produced in the traditional style today. Its sweet, penetrating aroma intensifies as it ripens. It is available in Fresco, Mezzano, Vecchio, Vecchio Selezione Oro and Vecchio Riserva forms. The rind is soft and light in Fresco form, the cheese thickens as it ages and hardens with a color that tends to an ocher colour. The cheese is compact and has no pores. It is very light in color and acquires a more intense pale yellow color as it ages and becomes more crunchy as is typical of grated cheeses. Piave is a cheese served in five stages of aging:

Piave Fresco PDO: 20 to 60 days
Piave Mezzano PDO: 61 to 180 days
Piave Vecchio PDO: more than 180 days
Piave Vecchio Selezione Oro PDO: more than 12 months
Piave Vecchio Riserva PDO : Aged more than 18 months

Piave represents a real food with high energy value. It contains important nutrients and is an easily digestible product. Benefits:

It is a natural ingredient cheese consisting of fresh milk, lactic enzymes, rennet and salt.
It is nutritionally complete as it contains essential amino acids, calcium and phosphorus.
It is easily digestible because biochemical modifications during the aging process make fats and proteins easily digestible.
Lactose is at low risk for allergies as it is present in very low concentrations as it is degraded by fermentation processes.

Return steps are as follows.

2. Click on order details and view the details of your order.

3. Press the Return button for the product you want to return.

4. Select the product to be returned and the reason for the return.

5. Take note of the return shipping code on the screen.

6. Put the invoice with the items to be returned in a single package.

7. Deliver the package within 7 days to ship with the return shipping code. In case you pass 7 days, you need to get a return shipping code again.

After the return request is approved, the product price will be refunded through your credit or debit card or money order-eft method, depending on the type of payment you made during the order.
