Auction Rules
Registration and participation
- To bid or buy in a Dutch auction you need an Endemigo account and a registration for that auction.
- Registration requires a verified credit card on your account. Every member has a bidding limit; a deposit may be required for bids above it.
- Once your registration is approved, you can bid on every lot of the auction.
Bidding
- Bids are binding and cannot be withdrawn.
- The lowest acceptable bid is shown for each lot; bid increments depend on the price range.
- Lots that do not reach the seller's reserve price may remain unsold.
Auction types
- Live auction: Lots open one after another and are run by the auctioneer. If no new bid arrives within 10 seconds after the final call, the lot is sold to the highest bid; every new bid restarts the timer.
- Timed auction: Lots close in catalogue order at the stated times. A bid close to closing may extend the lot; the extension rule is shown on the lot page.
- Dutch auction: The price drops at set intervals; buyers who accept the current price buy until the stock runs out.
Payment and delivery
- After the sale of a lot you won is approved (in a Dutch auction, from the moment of purchase), you must pay within 1 week. Won lots are added to your cart; a reminder is sent one day before the deadline.
- The item is shipped once payment is complete.
Unpaid purchases
- For a first violation, a fine of 20% of the unpaid amount applies. You cannot take part in auctions until the fine is paid; if it is not paid, participation stays closed for up to 6 months.
- A further violation after a paid fine leads to a 6-month auction ban; members whose fine expired unpaid or who were banned before receive a 1-year ban.
- Fines and bans only affect auctions; regular shopping stays open.
Right of withdrawal
Under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502 and the Distance Contracts Regulation, sales made by auction carry no right of withdrawal. If an item does not match its description, you can open a support request.
